Optional Professional Writing
During the one-hour consultation, we will also prepare a quote for optional professional writing services. The quote will include the analysis of the target announcement, requesting additional information and accomplishments, creation of the keywords, and an interview about important experience that might not be on the resume. Your long federal resume is now two pages.
OPM now requires two pages for the federal resume and two for the SES resume, which has to cover the new ECQs, the announcement’s MTQs and your career history in that space. A second OPM rule lets HR departments review resumes with AI and write their announcements with it, so the announcement’s keywords have to be in your resume.
